Job Description:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, production-ready APIs

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team while actively contributing to the codebase

• Drive architectural decisions, ensuring systems are secure, maintainable, and highly performant

• Enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, and documentation

• Ensure high-quality test coverage through test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in planning, program management, and process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, including at least 4 years in technical leadership roles

• Deep expertise in production-grade Python and backend architecture

• Strong background in database schema design and data modeling

• Proven track record of leading and guiding teams to build scalable backend systems

• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)

• Familiarity with LLM function calling protocols is a plus
