Job Description:
Quality Compliance: Drive full adherence to the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant industry regulations.
Specialized Documentation: Develop, review, and manage all welding-related documentation, ensuring alignment with client specifications and technical procedures.
Auditing & Inspection: Create internal auditing tools, conduct regular quality audits, and perform site inspections to ensure field teams maintain peak quality standards.
Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze project data to identify bottlenecks, determine root causes, and implement robust quality improvement plans (QIPs).
Policy Development: Contribute to the strategic design of company-wide policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Project Lifecycle Support: Act as the primary quality consultant from the planning phase through to project completion.
Training & Mentorship: Lead or facilitate regulatory and quality training sessions to foster a culture of excellence among staff.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive quality reports and maintain meticulous documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized QMS software.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership with excellent public speaking and interpersonal communication abilities.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
Highly organized with an aptitude for managing complex documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial preferred) or a related technical field.
Technical Experience: * Minimum of 2+ years of direct experience managing Quality Management Systems.
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience within a steel fabrication or heavy engineering environment.
Salary
