Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Inventory Officer to anchor the asset engine of our supermarket operations. In a specialized retail landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of turnover and the precision of the shelf success is defined by "Asset Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize physical stock levels with the clinical precision required for FIFO Rotation, GRN Documentation, and Variance Reconciliation. This role is designed for an "Inventory Architect" with an OND/HND/BSc and 1–3 years of experience who can blend "Numerical Grit" (conducting physical counts and Excel tracking) with the "Strategic Agility" required to monitor expiry dates and usage trends.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Control Governance

• Stock Sovereignty: Maintain accurate records of all stock received and issued, acting as the primary "Source of Inventory Truth."

• Documentation Architecture: Manage Goods Received Notes (GRN) and issue notes with millimetric focus, providing the "Structural Foundation" for accounts and audit transparency.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and shrinkage control initiatives, ensuring the "Source of Loss Prevention" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Reconciliation Logic

• Validation Sovereignty: Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile with system records, acting as the primary "Source of Variance Resolution."

• Rotation Architecture: Implement strict FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols and monitor expiry dates, providing the "Functional Foundation" for waste reduction and product freshness.

• Storage Stewardship: Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom to prevent damage or theft, maintaining the "Source of Asset Security."

3. Operational Integrity & Coordination Power

• Reporting Sovereignty: Prepare regular inventory reports on usage trends and stock levels, acting as the primary "Source of Purchasing Insights."

• Collaborative Architecture: Work closely with the Shop-Floor Supervisor, Sales Team, and Accountant, providing the "Relational Foundation" for seamless stock-taking exercises.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 1–3 years of retail experience to identify fast-moving vs. obsolete items in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Supermarket Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 1 – 3 years in inventory, storekeeping, or retail operations.

• Numerical Power: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and data analysis.

• Technical Edge: Basic knowledge of inventory systems and stock control processes.
