Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Management Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing inventory movement, minimizing losses, and ensuring the seamless availability of products across our warehouse and store locations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong grasp of supply chain operations and data management.

Requirements:

• Inventory Oversight: Monitor daily inventory levels across multiple warehouse and store locations to ensure operational continuity.

• Accuracy & Tracking: Maintain precise logs of all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring zero variance in records.

• Audit & Reconciliation: Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies immediately.

• Systems Management: Utilize inventory management software and advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to maintain up-to-date records.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with procurement and sales departments to forecast stock requirements and prevent stockouts.

• Waste Reduction: Proactively identify slow-moving, expired, or damaged goods and implement effective corrective measures to reduce shrinkage and losses.

• Reporting: Generate and analyze weekly and monthly inventory reports to support management decision-making.

• Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to inventory control procedures and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern Inventory Management Systems (IMS).

• Analytical Mindset: Strong numerical and analytical ability with the capacity to interpret sales trends.

• Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

• Attention to Detail: Unwavering commitment to accuracy and precision in data entry and stock management.

• Work Ethic: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
