Job Description:
Kora is seeking a high-velocity Social Media Associate to own our global social presence from end to end. This is not a role for a "poster"—it is a role for a Demand Generator. You will sit at the intersection of Fintech and storytelling, using our digital channels to educate global businesses, drive product adoption, and build a brand that defines the future of payments across Africa and beyond.
You will collaborate with every corner of the Kora ecosystem—from Design and Product Marketing to Merchant Success—to ensure our narrative is accurate, consistent, and irresistible. If you have 1–3 years of experience and the rare ability to make API capabilities and payment flows sound simple and exciting, we want you to lead our conversation.
Requirements:
1. Product Education & Narrative Design
Technical Translation: Transform complex fintech updates and API features into clear, "trust-building" social content.
Educational Velocity: Create simple, high-impact explainers for payment flows and new features that drive merchant adoption.
Content Repurposing: Strategically break down long-form reports, case studies, and blog posts into platform-native formats (Carousels, Threads, Reels).
2. Platform Strategy & Visual Execution
Multichannel Orchestration: Develop and maintain specialized plans for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring a consistent posting rhythm.
Humanizing the Brand: Bring Kora to life through team stories, community highlights, and deep customer insights that move beyond transactional messaging.
Visual Excellence: Produce high-quality graphics and short-form videos tailored specifically to the nuances of each digital platform.
3. Growth, Performance & Governance
Demand Generation: Launch social-led campaigns that directly support inbound pipelines, events, and product promotions.
Data-Driven Optimization: Track KPIs (Reach, Engagement, Conversions) and provide the Marketing Lead with actionable insights and trend analysis.
Compliance & Integrity: Act as the final gatekeeper for accuracy, ensuring all content follows internal compliance and fintech communication guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 1–3 years in social media management or digital content creation, preferably within Tech or Fintech.
Technical Skill: Proficiency in video editing, graphic design, and social analytics tools.
Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics into engaging, accessible content.
Core Competencies
