Bumpa is seeking a visionary Senior Motion/Graphic Designer to join our growth engine. We aren’t just looking for a "designer"; we are looking for a visual storyteller who understands that in the world of African e-commerce, design is a competitive advantage.

In this role, you will define how millions of entrepreneurs perceive Bumpa. You will blend high-end motion graphics with crisp static design to create a seamless, professional, and engaging brand experience. Whether it’s a smooth UI micro-interaction or a high-octane marketing campaign video, your work will be the primary bridge between our product and our community. If you have 5+ years of experience and a portfolio that screams "design-led," we want you to shape the future of African entrepreneurship with us.

Requirements:

1. Motion Graphics & Visual Storytelling

• Animated Content: Develop high-fidelity motion graphics, GIFs, and smooth animated videos that simplify complex product features for our audience.

• UI/UX Micro-interactions: Collaborate with the product team to create micro-interactions that enhance the user experience and give the Bumpa app a polished, interactive feel.

• Video Post-Production: Lead video editing efforts, adding captions, transition effects, and sound design optimized for multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Web).

2. Multi-Channel Graphic Leadership

• Campaign Architecture: Design compelling static assets for social media, email newsletters, print, and our website, ensuring every pixel aligns with Bumpa’s brand identity.

• Creative Collaboration: Work at the intersection of Growth, Product, and Content teams to brainstorm and execute creative concepts that drive user acquisition.

• Innovation & Trends: Act as the team’s "trend scout," integrating the latest animation techniques and emerging tools to keep our marketing materials cutting-edge.

3. Project Governance & Brand Integrity

• Consistency Stewardship: Refine and uphold our visual identity across every project, ensuring that even the smallest graphic meets our "design-led" corporate standards.

• Agile Project Management: Manage multiple high-priority projects from concept to execution, maintaining strict quality control and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Iteration & Feedback: Lead the design critique process, incorporating stakeholder feedback to refine assets while maintaining the integrity of the creative brief.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics and graphic design. Strong background in marketing-led branding is essential.

• Portfolio: A stellar portfolio showcasing fluid animation techniques, typography mastery, and high-impact branding across digital and print formats.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).

Technical Stack

• Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a must.

• Collaboration Tools: High proficiency in Figma for seamless design hand-offs and collaboration.

• Design Principles: Deep understanding of layout, color theory, and the mechanics of smooth, fluid motion.
