Job Description:

Are you a high-energy sales professional who understands that the future of advertising is in storytelling and community? We are looking for a smart Advert Executive to drive revenue for our rapidly growing podcast and digital content platforms.

This isn't a traditional "cold-calling" role; it’s about architecting partnerships. You will be the bridge between top-tier brands and our highly engaged audience. If you are a confident pitcher who thrives on performance-based incentives and knows how to turn a "maybe" into a signed sponsorship deal, this is your chance to own a high-impact commercial territory.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Business Development

  • Brand Sourcing: Proactively identify and pitch brands that align with our podcast demographics, focusing on ads, sponsorships, and custom branded content.

  • Deal Closing: Move beyond the pitch to navigate negotiations and finalize advertising contracts that meet both revenue and brand goals.

  • Agency Relations: Leverage existing contacts or build new bridges with media agencies and SMEs to ensure our shows are on their media buying radar.

2. Creative Partnership Alignment

  • Format Synergy: Work closely with the content team to ensure brand integrations feel organic and enhance the listener experience rather than disrupting it.

  • Sponsorship Innovation: Develop bespoke partnership packages—ranging from host-read ads to fully integrated branded segments—that drive high ROI for clients.

  • Relationship Management: Build long-term value by managing accounts post-sale, ensuring renewal and expansion of brand partnerships.

3. Performance & Revenue Governance

  • Revenue Targets: Consistently hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.

  • Pipeline Tracking: Maintain an organized system for tracking leads, conversion rates, and deal status to provide clear visibility to management.

  • Performance Reporting: Track the performance of live campaigns to provide brands with the data they need to justify continued investment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in advertising sales, media sales, or high-level brand sponsorships.

  • Industry IQ: A deep comfort level selling digital media or "content-led" products (podcasts, YouTube, influencers).

  • Network: Possession of an existing "rolodex" of brand managers or agency contacts is a significant advantage.
