Job Description:

We are looking for Senior Sales Officers who are not just "salespeople," but strategic growth partners. This role is designed for results-driven professionals who can navigate the entire credit lifecycle—from high-volume prospecting and rigorous risk assessment to maintaining a pristine portfolio.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Loan Acquisition & Disbursement

  • Market Penetration: Actively source, prospect, and onboard high-quality customers aligned with Oxygen’s specific lending criteria.

  • Credit Assessment: Conduct deep-dive customer evaluations to determine creditworthiness and mitigate initial risk.

  • Target Execution: Consistently hit monthly disbursement targets of ₦15M or ₦25M, ensuring all documentation is 100% compliant before capital is deployed.

2. Portfolio Quality & Risk Management

  • The "5% Rule": Maintain total accountability for your portfolio, ensuring that Portfolio at Risk (PAR) remains strictly below 5%.

  • Early Warning Systems: Monitor post-disbursement performance to identify early signs of financial distress and take immediate preventive action.

  • Recovery Excellence: Implement aggressive yet professional collection strategies for overdue accounts to protect the institution’s capital.

3. Relationship Management & Financial Guidance

  • Retention Strategy: Build long-term trust with clients to encourage repeat business and high-quality referrals.

  • Financial Advisory: Provide ongoing guidance to customers throughout the loan lifecycle to ensure their business success and repayment capability.

  • Lifecycle Monitoring: Maintain a rigorous follow-up schedule to ensure timely repayments and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • Experience: 1–3 years in microfinance sales, lending, or debt recovery.

  • Track Record: Proven ability to hit or exceed aggressive disbursement targets in the Nigerian market.
