Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and goal-driven Sales & Digital Marketing Officer to lead our commercial efforts in the technical instrumentation sector. This role is a unique hybrid, requiring a professional who can navigate digital marketing landscapes while possessing the technical literacy to discuss complex equipment with scientists and foreign Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). You will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle—from initial online lead generation to post-sale calibration reminders and after-sales support. If you have a science background and a passion for technology-driven marketing, this role offers a platform to work with cutting-edge equipment in a high-growth environment.

Requirements:

1. Technical Sales & Business Development

  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities in the tech and instrumentation sectors, building sustainable relationships with labs, factories, and research institutions.

  • OEM Liaison: Communicate directly with foreign Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to deepen product knowledge and ensure accurate technical representation to clients.

  • Event Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at promotional meetings, industry events, and expos to expand our professional network.

2. Digital Marketing & Awareness

  • Digital Strategy: Plan and manage multi-channel marketing activities, including SEO-driven website content, social media engagement, and targeted email campaigns.

  • Market Analysis: Prepare detailed reports and market trend analyses to refine sales strategies and identify competitive advantages.

  • Online Advertising: Execute and monitor digital ad campaigns to drive inbound inquiries for our equipment and services.

3. Lifecycle Management & After-Sales Support

  • Calibration Stewardship: Maintain a proactive outreach program to remind customers of upcoming equipment calibration due dates, ensuring compliance and safety.

  • Service Continuity: Execute follow-up after-sales services to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.

  • Administrative Excellence: Utilize MS Office tools for accurate record-keeping, reporting, and client correspondence.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Academic: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a Science Discipline (Science background is highly preferred).

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales/marketing, ideally within the tech, instrumentation, or medical equipment industry.

  • Location: Must reside on the Lagos Mainland (Ikeja, Ogba, Iyana-Ipaja, Agege, or environs).

Core Competencies

  • Technical Communication: Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear value propositions.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Word and a strong understanding of digital marketing tools (Social media platforms, Email marketing software).

  • Mindset: Goal-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to meet targets.
