Job Description:
Airben Properties is seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resource Manager to lead our HR operations and drive the strategic management of our most valuable asset—our people. As we expand our footprint in the real estate sector, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that our recruitment, performance, and compliance strategies align with our growth objectives. This role requires a blend of high-level strategic planning and rigorous administrative oversight. We are looking for a female leader who possesses deep knowledge of Nigerian Labor Laws and the emotional intelligence to foster a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
1. Talent Strategy & Lifecycle Management
End-to-End Staffing: Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract top-tier real estate professionals, followed by a robust onboarding program to ensure immediate integration.
Performance Excellence: Design and manage performance appraisal systems that drive productivity and identify candidates for succession planning.
Separation Management: Oversee professional offboarding and exit interviews to ensure brand protection and continuous improvement.
2. Policy, Compliance & Payroll
Labor Law Stewardship: Ensure all company operations and contracts strictly adhere to Nigerian Labor Laws and statutory requirements (Pension, NHF, NSITF, etc.).
Governance: Develop, update, and enforce the employee handbook and internal HR policies to maintain organizational discipline.
Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll coordination, benefit administration, and leave management with 100% accuracy and confidentiality.
3. Organizational Culture & Development
Employee Relations: Act as a mediator for grievances and lead disciplinary procedures with fairness and transparency.
Learning & Development: Identify skill gaps and deliver training programs that enhance the professional capacity of our workforce.
Culture Building: Spearhead employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive, inclusive, and highly motivated workplace culture.
Qualifications and Skills:
Mandatory Experience
Proven Tenure: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Gender Preference: Female.
Technical Skills & Attributes
Legal Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Professional Edge: Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI) is a significant advantage.
Software Mastery: Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and the Microsoft Office suite.
Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage confidential information at a high level.
