Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and versatile HR & Admin Officer to oversee the daily operations of our office while providing essential support to the Human Resources department. In this dual-capacity role, you will be responsible for ensuring the office runs at peak efficiency—managing vendors, expenses, and administrative workflows—while simultaneously supporting the full employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to policy compliance and records management, you will play a key role in fostering a professional, compliant, and well-supported workplace environment.

Requirements:

1. Human Resources Support

  • Talent Acquisition: Facilitate the recruitment process by drafting job descriptions, posting advertisements, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

  • Onboarding & Induction: Lead the integration of new hires into the company through structured onboarding plans and orientation.

  • Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, including attendance tracking, leave schedules, and performance data.

  • Policy & Compliance: Assist in drafting HR policies and employee handbooks, ensuring all internal procedures align with Nigerian Labour Laws and statutory regulations.

2. Office Administrative Operations

  • Daily Coordination: Oversee daily administrative activities to ensure a smooth, professional, and organized work environment.

  • Vendor & Supply Chain: Liaise with vendors and service providers to manage office supplies, ensuring timely deliveries and the accurate processing of payments.

  • Financial Support: Prepare and process purchase orders, expense reports, and payment requests with high attention to detail.

  • Events & Documentation: Organize company meetings, training sessions, and staff events; record and circulate minutes to ensure clear internal communication.

3. Discretion & Reporting

  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee and company information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.

  • Management Insight: Prepare regular HR and administrative reports for management to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Knowledge

  • Academic Background: Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Regulatory Expertise: A strong understanding of HR best practices and current Nigerian Labour Laws.

  • Software Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
