We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead, strengthen, and scale the sales function for a reputable organization in the pest control industry.
  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive B2B sales leadership experience, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and a proven ability to formulate and execute growth-driven sales strategies.
  • This role requires a commercially astute leader who can build high-performing sales teams, drive revenue growth, expand market share, and develop long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement a robust sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals.
  • Set clear revenue targets, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure consistent achievement of monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor team performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the sales department.

Business Development & Client Acquisition:

  • Expand the company’s customer base through strategic prospecting, networking, partnerships, and targeted outreach.
  • Lead high-level negotiations, prepare proposals, and close major deals with corporate clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

Market Intelligence & Product Positioning:

  • Provide insights on customer needs, market conditions, and competitor activities to support product development and marketing direction.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of compelling sales presentations, pitches, and service demonstrations.
  • Communicate product offerings, value proposition, and competitive advantage effectively to both clients and internal teams.

Operational Excellence & Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational standards.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, and business events to strengthen brand presence.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Managing Director/CEO, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide strategic feedback to other departments to enhance service quality and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 – 10 years proven sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Experience in the pest control, facility management, or related B2B service industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of pest identification, behavior, and treatment methods (advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, develop markets, and manage key accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a robust professional network.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and lead change effectively.

Salary

N800,000 Monthly
