Job Description:

We are seeking a data-driven and commercially savvy E-Commerce Specialist to spearhead the digital sales growth of RFL products. In this role, you will be the architect of our online presence, managing our proprietary webstore and our strategic storefronts across major marketplaces. You will be responsible for the entire digital value chain—from high-conversion merchandising and promotional planning to managing aggregator relationships and logistics integration. The ideal candidate is a "Digital Merchant" who understands how to balance ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) with FMCG supply chain reality to ensure RFL products are always visible, available, and profitable.

Requirements:

1. Storefront Management & Digital Merchandising

  • Channel Governance: Manage the daily operations of company-owned stores (Shopify/Magento/WooCommerce) and brand storefronts on major marketplaces.

  • Content Optimization: Oversee the "Digital Shelf"—ensuring high-quality product images, SEO-optimized descriptions, and accurate pricing across all platforms.

  • Stock Integrity: Work closely with the Supply Chain to ensure real-time stock availability and prevent the "out-of-stock" penalty on digital marketplaces.

2. Growth Strategy & Marketplace Operations

  • Performance Marketing: Develop and execute strategies to increase traffic and conversion rates, focusing on optimizing CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and Basket Size.

  • Partnership Management: Negotiate commercial terms, commissions, and premium promotional placements with online retailers and aggregators.

  • Campaign Activation: Lead seasonal sales events and digital-first product launches, coordinating with Marketing to ensure brand consistency.

3. Analytics & Logistics Integration

  • KPI Stewardship: Monitor and report on critical digital metrics: Traffic, Conversion Rate (CR), ROAS, and Order Fulfillment Time.

  • Operational Flow: Partner with Logistics teams to streamline the "Click-to-Ship" process, ensuring rapid delivery and high customer ratings.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze digital customer behavior to refine merchandising strategies and improve the effectiveness of promotional spend.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Academic: First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or Purchasing and Supply.

  • Tenure: Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience managing marketplace platforms (Jumia, Konga, Amazon, etc.) within the FMCG sector.

  • Technical Mastery: Proven experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.

Core Competencies

  • Commercial IQ: Ability to negotiate commissions and manage digital budgets for maximum ROI.

  • Digital Fluency: Understanding of online payment gateways and the integration of last-mile logistics.

  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using platform analytics to drive problem-solving and growth.

  • Merchandising Eye: A strong sense of digital aesthetics and "shelf appeal" for online products.
