Job Description:
Are you looking to launch a high-impact career in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development? We are seeking ambitious and energetic Sales Associates to join the Jiji team. In this role, you won't just be selling subscriptions; you will be empowering local business owners to scale their revenue by leveraging Africa’s largest online marketplace. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential businesses, educating them on digital marketing trends, and closing deals on Jiji’s Premium Services. This is a performance-driven role offering world-class training, a clear growth trajectory, and a highly competitive commission-based earnings structure.
Requirements:
1. Market Expansion & Merchant Acquisition
Business Identification: Proactively scout and identify new businesses across various categories (Auto, Real Estate, Electronics, etc.) that would benefit from an online presence.
Onboarding Excellence: Guide business owners through the registration process, ensuring their digital storefront on Jiji is optimized for success.
Premium Consulting: Enlighten entrepreneurs on how Jiji’s Premium Services can increase their visibility, lead generation, and overall sales.
2. Revenue Generation & CRM Management
Direct Sales: Pitch and sell Jiji’s Subscription Packages to business owners, effectively handling objections and closing high-value deals.
Data-Driven Sales: Utilize CRM tools to update sales activities, upload relevant client information, and track your progress toward monthly targets.
Relationship Management: Maintain consistent contact with onboarded merchants to ensure they are getting maximum value from their subscription.
