Job Description:
We are seeking a sharp, high-performing Business Operations Assistant to serve as the strategic right hand to the CEO and senior leadership team. This is not a traditional administrative role; it is a position for a "builder" and an "executor." You will act as the connective tissue between the CEO’s vision and departmental execution. Your mission is to design scalable systems, document high-impact processes (SOPs), and ensure that every strategic initiative is tracked to completion. Requirements:
1. Systems Architecture & Process Engineering
Process Mapping: Work deep within departments to audit, understand, and visualize existing operational workflows.
SOP Design: Architect and maintain a comprehensive library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure institutional knowledge is preserved and scalable.
Operational Reviews: Lead initiatives to identify bottlenecks and design "lean" improvements across the business lifecycle.
2. Strategic Execution & Governance
CEO Briefings: Prepare high-level briefs, operational summaries, and decision-support reports for the CEO and board members.
Execution Tracking: Own the "Action Item Tracker" for senior leadership, ensuring cross-departmental accountability and timely delivery of key results.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate between Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure resource alignment and remove obstacles to execution.
3. Growth & Business Development Support
Strategic Partnerships: Support the CEO in business development activities, including researching potential partners, managing vendor relationships, and vetting new customer opportunities.
Special Projects: Lead high-priority, "Founder's Office" projects that fall outside traditional departmental silos.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Experience & Background
Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Operations, Strategy, Management Consulting, or Business Analysis.
Pedigree: Experience in a Consulting firm, a Fast-growing startup, or a Founder’s Office is highly preferred.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience in designing and documenting complex business processes from scratch.
Core Competencies
Analytical Thinking: Ability to deconstruct complex business problems into actionable workflows.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to communicate with C-level stakeholders and junior operators with equal clarity.
Commercial Awareness: A strong grasp of business models, P&L drivers, and partnership dynamics.
