Job Description:
We are looking for a high-velocity Business Development Manager with a "Hunter" mindset to lead our market expansion. This is a strategic B2B role focused on securing large-volume contracts across the private, public, and development sectors. You won't just be selling products; you will be selling "Reliability," "Quality Assurance," and "Mass Capacity." Your mission is to penetrate high-volume verticals—from top-tier schools and hospitals to government parastatals—positioning our brand as the premier partner for workwear and textile solutions. Requirements:
1. Strategic B2B Acquisition (The "Hunter" Role)
Sector Penetration: Develop and execute specific entry strategies for high-volume verticals, including Hospitality (Hotels/Restaurants), Healthcare (Hospitals), Security, and Engineering firms.
Tendering & Bidding: Lead the end-to-end process for identifying, preparing, and winning government tenders with Ministries, Agencies, and Parastatals.
Institutional Partnerships: Secure long-term supply contracts with NGOs and private corporations for workwear, uniforms, and CSR-related garment needs.
2. B2B Marketing & Brand Positioning
Lead Generation: Utilize digital outreach, industry networking, and cold-calling to reach key decision-makers (Procurement Officers, HR Directors, and Administrators).
Capability Presentations: Design and pitch compelling "Capability Statements" that demonstrate our manufacturing speed, quality control, and industrial capacity.
Showroom Experience: Utilize our physical store as a strategic showroom to host prospects for fabric demonstrations and fitting sessions, closing deals through tangible quality proof.
3. Account Management & Production Liaison
Technical Briefing: Translate complex client requirements into technical specifications for our production team to ensure 100% order accuracy.
Contract Negotiation: Expertly negotiate pricing and payment terms to maximize company margins while securing high-volume commitments.
Lifecycle Management: Manage the client relationship post-sale to ensure repeat business and contract renewals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience & Mindset
Proven Tenure: 4–6 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Corporate Marketing. (Experience in Textiles, FMCG, or Industrial Supplies is a significant advantage).
Academic Background: B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Aggressive Growth Mindset: You are resilient, persistent, and view a "No" as the starting point of a negotiation.
Technical Skills
Proposal Writing: Expert ability to draft winning tenders and corporate proposals.
CRM Mastery: Proficiency in managing sales pipelines through CRM software.
Negotiation: High-level persuasion and financial negotiation skills.
