Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, digitally savvy Media Sales & Partnerships Executive to drive revenue growth for Huntaclay Media and our flagship Good News Naija Podcast. In this role, you will be the bridge between brands and our audience, crafting innovative sponsorship opportunities, branded content deals, and long-term media partnerships. You aren't just selling "ad spots"; you are selling storytelling and community influence. If you have a proven track record in media sales and a deep understanding of the Nigerian podcasting landscape, we want you to help us monetize the future of digital audio.

Requirements:

1. Partnership Strategy & Lead Acquisition

  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and engage potential brand partners, agencies, and sponsors that align with the values and audience of Good News Naija.

  • Tailored Pitching: Assist in developing and delivering media solutions (host-read ads, sponsored segments, branded episodes) that solve specific client marketing objectives.

  • Market Representation: Represent Huntaclay Media professionally at industry events, agency meetings, and high-level networking engagements.

2. Pipeline Management & Campaign Execution

  • Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the sales pipeline from initial outreach to contract signing, ensuring consistent follow-ups and clear client communication.

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with content and production teams to ensure that brand deliverables (ad scripts, visual mentions) are executed flawlessly and on time.

  • Collateral Development: Prepare high-quality proposals, updated rate cards, and comprehensive media kits that showcase our reach and engagement metrics.

3. Performance Analytics & Revenue Growth

  • Accountability: Track sales performance against monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Client Retention: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with advertisers to ensure campaign renewals and long-term brand loyalty.

  • Post-Campaign Reporting: Prepare detailed "Wrap Reports" for clients, analyzing impressions, click-through rates, and audience feedback to prove ROI.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience & Expertise

  • Proven Tenure: 2–4 years of experience in media sales, advertising, or brand partnerships.

  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Podcast Advertising, Content Marketing, and the Nigerian Influencer Marketing ecosystem.

  • Skill Set: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Attributes & Tools

  • Mindset: Proactive, goal-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth media environment.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently while remaining a supportive team player.

  • Tech Stack: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive) and digital sales tracking systems is a significant advantage.

Salary

₦150,000 - ₦200,000/month
