Job Description:

Are you a strategic sales leader with a proven track record of driving enterprise solution sales and building high-value client partnerships? We are an established technology leader specializing in digital transformation, and we are looking for a highly accomplished Sales Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in Nigeria. With a specific focus on Enterprise Solutions and Artificial Intelligence, you will identify, develop, and close high-stakes deals. You will act as a consultative partner to C-level executives, leveraging your deep technical insights to solve complex business challenges and drive substantial revenue growth.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Market Expansion

  • Targeted Strategy: Develop and execute a data-driven sales strategy specifically for our AI and Enterprise portfolio within the Nigerian market.

  • C-Suite Engagement: Cultivate and maintain high-level, consultative relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders in Tier-1 organizations.

  • Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to map complex business challenges to our AI-driven digital transformation solutions.

2. Full-Cycle Deal Orchestration

  • Value Engineering: Develop compelling value propositions and tailored proposals that articulate the ROI of AI and enterprise software.

  • Negotiation & Closure: Lead the entire sales cycle for high-value contracts, managing everything from initial engagement to complex legal and commercial negotiations.

  • Technical Synergy: Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to ensure our solutions are perfectly aligned with client infrastructure and outcomes.

3. Leadership & Talent Development

  • Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead an elite business development team, focusing on high-performance output and career progression.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain rigorous accuracy within the CRM, providing senior management with precise sales forecasts and market intelligence.

  • Industry Representation: Act as a thought leader at executive briefings, conferences, and industry events to reinforce the company’s position as an AI pioneer.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience & Education

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Computer Science. An MBA is highly desirable.

  • Proven Tenure: 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise software and AI solutions sales within the Nigerian market.

  • Track Record: A demonstrable history of closing high-value, complex technology deals with large-scale organizations.

Core Competencies

  • Solution Selling: Mastery of enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, or Value Selling).

  • AI Literacy: Deep understanding of how Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data drive digital transformation.

  • Executive Presence: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to build immediate rapport with senior decision-makers.

  • Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on long-term client success rather than transactional sales.
