Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive to accelerate our growth in the renewable energy sector. This is a strategic sales role for a professional who can navigate the complexities of high-ticket energy solutions. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle—from identifying new market opportunities and conducting energy audits to closing deals with residential, commercial, and industrial (C&I) clients. If you have a passion for sustainable energy and a proven track record of hitting aggressive revenue targets through relationship-based selling, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Market Expansion & Lead Generation
Opportunity Mapping: Conduct deep market research to identify untapped residential clusters and industrial zones primed for solar transition.
Strategic Prospecting: Generate and qualify leads for large-scale solar installations, focusing on high-ROI clients in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Competitor Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to position our solar solutions as the superior choice.
2. Technical Sales & Proposal Engineering
Solution Design: Collaborate with the technical team to translate client energy needs into tailored solar proposals (Grid-tie, Hybrid, or Off-grid).
Pitch & Presentation: Deliver high-impact presentations and quotations that clearly articulate the technical benefits and financial ROI of our energy solutions.
Site Evaluation: Lead site visits and initial energy assessments to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and optimized for the client’s infrastructure.
3. Relationship Management & Closing
Account Stewardship: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, facility managers, and institutional partners.
Negotiation Mastery: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for the company while delivering maximum value to the client.
Revenue Delivery: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas through a disciplined, process-driven approach.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development.
Industry Advantage: Prior experience in the Energy, Solar, or Power sector is highly preferred.
Core Competencies
Consultative Selling: Ability to explain complex technical products in a way that emphasizes financial and operational benefits.
Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong communication skills with the confidence to pitch to C-suite executives and high-net-worth individuals.

Market Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Nigerian energy landscape and regulatory environment.
