Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior HR & Operations Officer to lead the end-to-end people and administrative functions for our luxury home supplies business. In the luxury sector, our people are our primary brand ambassadors; therefore, we need a strategic recruiter who can identify, attract, and retain talent that embodies "premium service." You will move beyond basic HR administration to become a key business partner, managing everything from high-touch talent acquisition and performance coaching to office operations and regulatory compliance. Requirements:

1. High-Touch Talent Acquisition & Integration

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead the search for top-tier talent, managing everything from workforce planning and headhunting to sophisticated interview techniques and offer negotiation.

  • Employer Branding: Develop recruitment strategies that position our company as an employer of choice for professionals in the luxury and premium retail markets.

  • Onboarding Excellence: Design "High-Touch" orientation programs that ensure new hires are culturally aligned and operationally ready from day one.

2. Performance, Culture & Employee Relations

  • Strategic Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning the "People Strategy" with our commercial business objectives.

  • Performance Governance: Oversee the appraisal cycle, coaching managers on how to set "stretch goals" and provide constructive feedback that drives professional growth.

  • Culture Stewardship: Drive engagement initiatives that foster a high-performance, inclusive workplace culture, ensuring high retention rates of our best talent.

3. Operations, Compliance & Administration

  • Policy Leadership: Maintain and evolve the Employee Handbook and HR policies to ensure 100% compliance with Nigerian Labor Laws and statutory requirements.

  • Facilities & Vendor Management: Oversee office operations, ensuring the physical workspace reflects our luxury brand standards and managing relationships with key service providers.

  • Conflict Resolution: Lead the resolution of complex employee relations issues with a focus on fairness, consistency, and legal compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Background

  • Experience: 4–6 years of progressive HR and administrative experience, with a heavy focus on end-to-end recruitment.

  • Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Sector Knowledge: Experience in luxury retail, premium services, or high-end hospitality is an added advantage.

  • Recruitment Mastery: Proven ability to independently source and close high-quality candidates in a competitive market.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the poise to engage board-level stakeholders.
