Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our people operations. In this role, you will be the primary architect of the employee experience, managing everything from talent acquisition and seamless onboarding to complex payroll and benefits administration. You will act as a critical bridge between management and staff, ensuring that our HR policies not only maintain strict legal compliance but also foster a culture of growth, engagement, and high performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of Nigerian labor laws and the emotional intelligence to navigate complex employee relations.
Requirements:
1. Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Management
End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the recruiting and hiring process to attract top-tier talent, ensuring a data-driven approach to selection.
Onboarding Excellence: Design and execute immersive onboarding programs that integrate new hires into the company culture and accelerate their time-to-productivity.
Employee Growth: Coordinate training initiatives and skills development programs to support long-term career progression.
2. Operations, Payroll & Compliance
Financial Stewardship: Manage payroll administration and employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
Regulatory Governance: Ensure all HR activities and policies are in full compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations.
3. Performance & Workplace Culture
Performance Architecture: Manage the annual performance review cycle, helping managers set clear KPIs and providing tools for effective feedback.
Conflict Resolution: Serve as a neutral mediator in employee relations matters, resolving disputes with fairness and professionalism.
Culture Advocacy: Drive engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and motivated workplace environment.
Policy Development: Formulate and update organizational policies that align with evolving business goals and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related Social Science field.
Certification: Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, PHRi, or SHRM) is highly desirable.
Industry IQ: Proven experience managing the full HR function in a fast-paced organizational setting.
Core Competencies
Leadership: Ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior management while remaining accessible to all employees.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS (HR Information Systems) and data-driven reporting.
Age Specification: The ideal candidate should be not above 40 years of age.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion.
