Job Description:
1. Full-Stack Development & Architecture
Back-End Excellence: Design, test, and deploy scalable services and RESTful APIs using Laravel (PHP), ensuring high availability and security.
Front-End Innovation: Build and maintain responsive, high-performance UIs using React.js, focusing on seamless user journeys and state management.
Database Optimization: Contribute to the design and optimization of MySQL/PostgreSQL databases to handle large-scale e-commerce transaction volumes.
2. E-commerce Ecosystem Integration
Service Integration: Connect the platform with essential third-party services, including payment gateways (Stripe/Paystack), global shipping providers, and marketing automation tools.
Feature Lifecycle: Own the development of core e-commerce features: dynamic product catalogs, complex shopping carts, secure checkout processes, and order management systems.
3. Quality, Security & Agile Delivery
Code Stewardship: Write clean, well-documented code and lead peer code reviews to ensure security, performance, and adherence to industry standards.
Agile Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and UI/UX Designers within a Scrum/Kanban framework to translate business requirements into technical reality.
DevOps & Stability: Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring the platform remains stable and reliable during peak traffic periods.
Requirements:
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a "performance-first" mindset.
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
Familiarity with Docker, AWS/Azure, and Microservices.
Experience with Vue.js, Vite, or Webpack.
Commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing suites
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
PHP/Laravel: Expert-level proficiency in PHP and extensive experience building enterprise-grade applications with Laravel.
JavaScript/React: Solid understanding of ES6+ and practical experience building complex SPAs with React.js.
E-commerce Domain: Demonstrable experience in the e-commerce space (Cart logic, Payment flows, Order state management).
Data & Version Control: Strong experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and advanced proficiency with Git.
