Job Description:

Air Peace is seeking a meticulous and data-driven Network Analyst to support our core planning and scheduling functions. In this role, you will be responsible for the "intelligence" that drives our route network, providing deep-dive analysis into route performance, market demand, and competitor behavior. You will help transform raw operational data into actionable insights that improve aircraft utilization and network profitability. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional to influence the commercial strategy of Africa’s fastest-growing airline.

Requirements:

1. Route Performance & Market Intelligence

• Metric Tracking: Analyze key performance indicators including Load Factors, RASK (Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer), and Yield to identify top-performing and underperforming routes.

• Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor competitor frequencies and market share shifts to identify gaps in the market or potential threats to our regional and international routes.

• Feasibility Modeling: Support the development of business cases for new route launches by providing data-driven demand forecasts and scenario models.

2. Tactical Schedule Support

• Optimization Assistance: Work with the Scheduling team to refine flight timings that maximize passenger connectivity and minimize ground turn-around times.

• Utilization Analysis: Track aircraft "block hours" and identify opportunities to squeeze more productivity out of the fleet without compromising operational reliability.

• Constraint Management: Support schedule adjustments based on evolving fleet availability, airport slot restrictions, and seasonal demand shifts.

3. Data Management & Reporting

• Reporting Cycle: Own the delivery of weekly and monthly network performance reports, ensuring stakeholders have a clear view of capacity utilization.

• Ad-Hoc Intelligence: Provide rapid-response data analysis to support management requests and strategic business cases.

• System Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy of network and schedule databases, supporting the implementation of new automation or analytics tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Economics, Statistics, or Business.

• Professional History: 1–3 years of experience in airline network planning, commercial analysis, or revenue management.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory; familiarity with airline scheduling software (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus) is a significant advantage.
