About Company:

Dunn And Braxton Limited - Our client is a retail store that sells home goods, furniture, gift items, and décor products. They company are seeking to hire an experienced candidate to provide technical support across the store(s), ensure all IT systems, equipment, and networks operate smoothly, support staff with day-to-day technical issues, maintain critical retail systems such as tills, handheld devices, self-checkout machines, and back-office systems, also help implement new technologies.

Job Description:

• Systems & Network Administration

• Perform full-scale system and database administration, including software installation, configuration, and regular database maintenance (backup/restore).

• Maintain and repair Windows Operating Systems and manage hardware/software troubleshooting.

• Diagnose and resolve network failures, ensuring stable Wi-Fi, router, and switch connectivity.

• Provide technical support for POS systems, handheld scanners, and back-office retail software.

  3. Inventory & Procurement Support

• Coordinate with procurement teams to manage replenishment stock and ensure inventory availability.

• Support and optimize inventory management systems to streamline retail operations.

  2. Website & Social Media Management

• Manage and update the company website to ensure peak performance and security.

• Develop and execute Social Media Strategies to create engaging content and drive brand awareness.

• Monitor social platforms, engage with users professionally, and manage targeted ad campaigns (ROI tracking).

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in IT Support, ideally within a retail or customer-facing environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc / HND / OND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: * Expertise in Windows environments and POS system maintenance.

  • Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routers, switches).

  • Proficiency in hardware/software troubleshooting and diagnosis.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
