Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and distinguished Educational Administrator to lead one of Delta State’s premier schools. This is a high-stakes leadership role designed for a professional who combines administrative rigor with a deep mastery of international curricula. You will be responsible for the academic excellence, operational efficiency, and overall reputation of the school. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing global examinations and fostering an environment where students consistently achieve top-tier results in local and international assessments.
Requirements:
1. Academic Leadership & International Excellence
Global Standards: Lead the implementation and management of international examination frameworks, including Cambridge (IGCSE/A-Levels), SAT, TOEFL, IGRE, and GMAT.
Curriculum Innovation: Oversee the integration of international best practices with the national curriculum to ensure a holistic and competitive learning experience.
Faculty Development: Mentor and evaluate academic staff to ensure teaching methods meet the high standards required for international success.
2. Strategic School Administration
Operational Oversight: Manage the daily administrative functions of the school, ensuring a safe, disciplined, and productive environment for students and staff.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the school, parents, regulatory bodies, and international examination boards.
Visionary Planning: Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to increase student enrollment, improve academic facilities, and enhance the school's prestige.
3. Institutional Culture & Compliance
Student Welfare: Foster a culture of excellence, high moral standards, and global citizenship among the student body.
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure full compliance with the Ministry of Education standards and the requirements of various international examining bodies.
On-Campus Leadership: As a resident on the school premises, provide accessible leadership and ensure the smooth running of the boarding and campus facilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Mandatory Criteria
Gender: Male (as per institutional requirements).
Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related academic field.
Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, specifically as a Vice Principal or higher in a reputable secondary school.
Examination Expertise: Demonstrated experience and success in managing International Examinations (Cambridge, SAT, TOEFL, IGRE, GMAT, etc.).
Core Competencies
Strategic Thinking: Ability to manage complex institutional budgets and academic calendars.
Communication: Exceptional public speaking and written communication skills to engage with a diverse school community.
Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with School Management Systems (SMS) and digital learning platforms.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong conflict-resolution abilities and a collaborative leadership style.
