Job Description:

1. Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Consultative Selling: Engage customers with a deep knowledge of sneaker brands, styles, and streetwear trends to provide expert styling advice.

  • Target Achievement: Actively work to meet and exceed daily and monthly sales quotas through persuasion and effective negotiation.

  • CRM Management: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track client preferences, manage waitlists for "drops," and follow up on repeat business.

2. Retail Operations & Technical Support

  • POS Mastery: Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems with 100% accuracy in cash and card processing.

  • Inventory Governance: Support the management of stock levels, ensuring the sales floor is replenished and reporting discrepancies immediately.

  • Store Standards: Maintain a premium visual environment, ensuring that high-value footwear is displayed according to brand standards.

3. Market Intelligence & Culture

  • Trend Awareness: Stay at the forefront of the footwear market, including upcoming releases, resale values, and competitor activity.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the business with a passion for streetwear culture, building a community of loyal "sneakerhead" clients.

Requirements:

  • Passion: A genuine enthusiast for sneakers and global streetwear culture.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with a diverse clientele.

  • Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak periods and new product launches.

  • Flexibility: Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail cycles.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of an OND (Diploma); a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience: Prior experience in retail sales is required. Experience specifically in footwear or athletic apparel is a significant advantage.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills for reporting and inventory tracking.

Salary

₦100,000 - ₦150,000/month
