Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Junior Sales Executive to join our Lagos-based telecoms team. In an era where digital connectivity is the lifeblood of business, your mission is to expand our footprint by delivering world-class internet and enterprise solutions to corporate and SME clients.
This is a role for a "hunter" who understands the nuances of the Nigerian telecoms market. You won't just be selling data; you will be selling business continuity, speed, and reliability. If you have a proven track record of smashing targets in the ISP/Telecoms space and possess the negotiation grit to close complex enterprise deals, we want you on our front line.
Requirements:
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
Opportunity Hunting: Identify and cultivate new business leads within the corporate and SME segments, focusing on high-growth industries in Lagos.
Solution Selling: Consult with clients to understand their infrastructure needs and pitch tailored telecom solutions (Fiber, Microwave, Cloud, Managed Services).
Strategic Presentations: Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate our competitive edge.
2. Relationship Management & Retention
Account Stewardship: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CTOs, IT Managers, CEOs) to ensure high client retention and upselling opportunities.
Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous competitor analysis and market research to stay ahead of pricing trends and service offerings in the Lagos tech hub.
Service Synergy: Collaborate with our technical and operations teams to ensure that the solutions sold are delivered seamlessly and meet client expectations.
3. Performance & Pipeline Governance
Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through aggressive sales activities.
Reporting Rigor: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and pipeline reports, providing management with clear visibility into your sales trajectory.
Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of sales contracts, ensuring all terms are negotiated effectively and documented correctly.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of solid sales experience specifically within the Telecoms/ISP industry.
Track Record: A documented history of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales KPIs.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Enterprise Connectivity, Internet Services (FTTx), and Cloud Solutions.
Core Competencies
Negotiation Grit: Ability to navigate complex procurement processes and close high-value contracts.
Interpersonal Mastery: Exceptional communication skills with the "executive presence" needed to engage C-suite stakeholders.
