RETURN CONTROL OFFICER - PAN NIGERIA AT ASCENTECH SERVICES LIMITED

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Return Control Officer to manage and oversee all return operations across Nigeria. This role is critical in controlling, monitoring, and ensuring timely and accurate return processing.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance or inventory control, excellent Excel and presentation skills, and the ability to drive efficiencies while minimizing losses.

Key Responsibilities
Return Monitoring & Control:

• Ensure all returns across locations in Nigeria are recorded and processed as per SOP.
• Supervise and control the flow of returns to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

System Updates (NetSuite):

• Post returns accurately in NetSuite with correct documentation.
• Ensure return entries are closed within 24 hours of receipt.

Credit Note Issuance:

• Coordinate with finance and billing to issue credit notes promptly post return confirmation.

Daily MIS Reporting:

• Share daily return reports, PAN Nigeria, including reasons for returns.
• Track and report RMA pendencies, POD pendencies, and expiry/damage/dented returns similar to CDC format.

Root Cause Analysis & Reduction Strategy:

• Identify frequent return reasons and work with cross-functional teams to reduce return ratios.
• Suggest process improvements to minimize damages, expiries, and customer-related returns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Inventory Management, or related field.
• Finance background or inventory management experience preferred.
• Strong command of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards) and presentation tools (PowerPoint or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in returns management, inventory control, or logistics.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems (Very Important).
