Job Description:
We are seeking a poised, articulate, and highly organized Receptionist to be the face of our establishment in Lekki. In a high-traffic hospitality environment, the first 30 seconds of a guest’s arrival define their entire experience. Your mission is to provide a seamless "gold-standard" welcome, manage complex reservation channels, and ensure efficient guest flow.
This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses the "street-smarts" to handle walk-ins and bookings across WhatsApp, phone, and online platforms simultaneously. Requirements:
1. Guest Relations & Front Desk Excellence
First Impression Management: Greet all guests with a courteous and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they step in.
Information Authority: Act as the subject matter expert on our menu, special events, and services, providing accurate and enticing information to guests.
Conflict Resolution: Handle guest complaints with extreme politeness and emotional intelligence, escalating to management only when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
2. Reservation Systems & Flow Control
Omnichannel Booking: Manage and synchronize table reservations coming through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and online booking engines.
Floor Coordination: Work in lockstep with the floor staff and management to optimize table turnover and manage the "guest flow" during peak hours.
Administrative Discipline: Maintain meticulous daily guest reports and booking records to help management analyze peak trends and customer preferences.
3. Professional Standards & Logistics
Area Stewardship: Ensure the reception area remains pristine, organized, and reflective of our brand’s premium image.
Communication Hub: Answer and route calls promptly, serving as the central nervous system for internal and external communications.
Shift Flexibility: Demonstrate reliability by working flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to support the hospitality cycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree. (Hospitality or Business backgrounds are a plus).
Core Requirement: O’Level with a Credit in English Language is mandatory.
Experience: 1–3 years in a hospitality front desk role (Lounge, Restaurant, or Hotel).
Location: Must reside in Lekki or the immediate surrounding axis for ease of commute.
