Job Description:

We are seeking a warm, proactive, and "social media-savvy" Front Desk Officer to be the face and voice of our school. In a school environment, the front desk is more than a reception—it is the hub of parent engagement and the engine of our digital brand.

Your mission is to provide an exceptional first impression to parents and visitors, manage office administration with precision, and bring our school’s activities to life across social media platforms. If you are a self-driven professional who can switch between administrative tasks and creative content management while maintaining a calm, empathetic demeanor with parents, we want you on our team.

Requirements:

1. Parent Relations & Emotional Intelligence

  • First-Point-of-Contact: Greet and assist parents, students, and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a premium "school-gate" experience.

  • Conflict De-escalation: Use high emotional intelligence to listen to and resolve parent inquiries or complaints calmly and patiently.

  • Information Hub: Provide accurate and helpful information regarding school fees, admission processes, and school events.

2. Social Media & Digital Branding

  • Content Creation: Manage and update the school’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) with engaging photos, videos, and captions of school activities.

  • Digital Community Management: Respond to inquiries on social media platforms promptly to ensure the school maintains a proactive online presence.

  • Brand Visibility: Brainstorm and execute creative ideas to showcase the school’s unique value to prospective parents online.

3. Administrative & Office Coordination

  • Office Logistics: Manage incoming calls, emails, and school correspondence with excellent written and oral communication.

  • Documentation: Maintain organized student and visitor records, ensuring that all front-office filing is up to date.

  • Multitasking Excellence: Handle walk-in inquiries while managing phone lines and creative tasks without compromising on service quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in a relevant discipline.

  • Tech Savvy: Social Media Compliant. You must be comfortable using apps to create, edit, and manage professional school content.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills are mandatory.

  • Appearance: Punctual and consistently maintains a professional, "school-ready" appearance.

Behavioral Attributes

  • Emotional Intelligence: Ability to remain calm and respectful when dealing with diverse parent personalities.
