Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber, structured General Manager (GM) to anchor the operational execution of our company. This is a "Command and Control" role designed for a professional who excels in organizational discipline, milestone-based delivery, and cross-functional coordination.

Reporting directly to the CTO with Board oversight, you will own the non-engineering engine of the company. Your mission is to ensure that our technology—particularly safety-critical systems—is deployed, managed, and scaled with absolute operational rigor. You will translate executive vision into measurable workflows, ensuring the company remains lean, disciplined, and ready for institutional-grade expansion.

Requirements:

1. Operational Rigor & Deployment Execution

  • Deployment Orchestration: Drive milestone-based execution across all initiatives, ensuring total readiness for pilots, product launches, and rapid scaling.

  • Workflow Engineering: Establish and enforce measurable operational workflows and SOPs across logistics, asset management, and customer support.

  • Gap Detection: Early identification of execution bottlenecks or safety-critical risks, ensuring clear escalation and swift resolution.

2. Financial Discipline & Asset Governance

  • Budgetary Control: Operate strictly within Board-approved budgets, maintaining a hawk-eyed focus on burn rates and cost discipline.

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Direct the management of physical assets and logistics, ensuring high utilization rates and operational efficiency.

  • Risk Mitigation: Surface financial and operational risks early, implementing data-driven metrics to improve the "cost-per-deployment" and other efficiency KPIs.

3. Institutional Interfacing & Stakeholder Management

  • External Representation: Serve as the primary operational face of the company in engagements with government bodies, institutional partners, and commercial stakeholders.

  • Commitment Alignment: Ensure that all external commitments and partnerships are strictly aligned with the company’s internal operational capacity and safety standards.

  • Reporting Cadence: Implement a rigorous reporting framework to keep the CTO and Board informed of operational health and milestone progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: Proven track record managing structured operations in infrastructure, technology, or asset-heavy environments.

  • Environment: Experience in early-stage company scaling is a significant advantage, particularly within hardware or safety-critical systems.

  • Governance: Comfort operating under formal Board oversight and strict governance structures.
