Job Description:
We are seeking high-energy, technically proficient Medical Sales Representatives to drive our pharmaceutical footprint across key regions in Nigeria. This is a "boots on the ground" role designed for professionals who can bridge the gap between complex pharmaceutical science and commercial healthcare needs.
Your mission is to be the face of our brand to healthcare professionals (HCPs). You won't just be "selling products"; you will be providing critical medical knowledge, building high-trust partnerships with clinicians, and ensuring that life-saving treatments reach the patients who need them. If you are a target-driven professional with a background in Pharmacy or Life Sciences and the grit to dominate your assigned territory, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Technical Promotion & Clinical Detailing
HCP Engagement: Build and maintain high-impact relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators to promote our pharmaceutical portfolio.
Product Expertise: Deliver detailed, evidence-based product presentations that highlight clinical benefits, safety profiles, and therapeutic advantages.
Knowledge Transfer: Stay current with medical trends and competitor activities to provide superior value-added insights to healthcare clients.
2. Territory Management & Growth
Sales Excellence: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic account planning and high-frequency field visits.
Market Expansion: Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities within the medical field in Lagos, Adamawa, Bauchi, and Gombe.
CRM Discipline: Utilize data-driven reporting to track client interactions, manage the sales funnel, and ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
3. Commercial Governance & Feedback
Negotiation & Closing: Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations to secure high-volume hospital and pharmacy accounts.
Market Intelligence: Provide regular feedback to the management team regarding market shifts, regulatory updates, and customer needs to inform future product strategy.
Professionalism: Uphold the highest standards of ethics and organizational compliance in all field activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven expertise in Medical Sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance-based targets.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Nigerian pharmaceutical landscape and healthcare infrastructure.
Core Competencies
Sales Grit: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a field-based environment.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
Mobility: Absolute willingness to travel within assigned locations, including Lagos and the North-East corridor (Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe).
