Job Description:
As a Marketing Manager at Control Risks, you will be a strategic architect of our brand’s influence across the globe, with a specific focus on the African continent. This role is designed for a creative, data-driven professional who can balance global consistency (80%) with deep regional relevance (20%). You will partner with world-class Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex geopolitical and security risks into compelling commercial value propositions. From high-touch executive events to multi-channel digital thought leadership, you will own the full marketing funnel, driving both brand credibility and qualified lead generation for our global consulting practices.
Requirements:
1. Full-Funnel Campaign & Event Orchestration
Multi-Channel Delivery: Lead the development and execution of integrated B2B campaigns targeting C-suite decision-makers across digital, social, and offline channels.
Sales Enablement: Brief the in-house Brand team to produce high-impact collateral and tools that empower our account management teams to close complex deals.
High-Stakes Events: Plan and execute premium in-person and virtual events, ensuring seamless client experiences and rigorous post-event ROI reporting.
2. Content Strategy & Thought Leadership
SME Collaboration: Work alongside consultants and risk analysts to extract insights and shape them into authoritative thought leadership content.
Messaging Mastery: Craft clear, concise, and persuasive messaging on complex global topics, ensuring our voice remains the "gold standard" in the risk consulting industry.
Asset Coordination: Manage the creation of a diverse asset library, including long-form reports, email sequences, and social media content tailored for LinkedIn and other corporate platforms.
3. Performance Analytics & Commercial Growth
CRM Governance: Track all campaign activity within Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring data integrity and adherence to global marketing processes.
Insight-Driven Optimization: Analyze qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure campaign performance, presenting findings to senior stakeholders to guide future investment.
Budget Stewardship: Manage regional marketing budgets and supplier relationships (agencies, event organizers) with high commercial acumen.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Experience & Education
Academics: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related business field.
Tenure: 3–5 years of experience in B2B professional services marketing, with a proven track record in the African market.
Matrix Navigating: Demonstrated experience collaborating with global stakeholders across different time zones and cultures.
Technical & Core Competencies
Tech Stack Mastery: High proficiency in MS Dynamics 365, ClickDimensions, Eventbrite, and GoToWebinar. Familiarity with AI platforms for marketing optimization is a plus.
Content Expertise: Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions.
Project Leadership: Strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume calendar of activity under pressure.
Commercial Sense: An understanding of business growth strategies and the ability to link marketing activity to revenue outcomes.
