Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber, results-driven Business Development & Bidding Specialist to lead our growth initiatives and manage our end-to-end tendering process. This role is designed for a strategic "hunter" who excels at identifying market opportunities and a meticulous "closer" who can navigate the complexities of formal bidding. You will be responsible for translating our technical capabilities into winning proposals, managing senior-level stakeholder relationships, and ensuring our pipeline is consistently converted into profitable contracts.
Requirements:
1. Opportunity Identification & Market Intelligence
Growth Strategy: Proactively research and identify new business prospects, emerging markets, and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with company goals.
Lead Generation: Build and sustain a robust sales pipeline through networking, cold outreach, and industry analysis.
Market Positioning: Monitor competitor bidding activities and market trends to refine our value proposition and pricing strategies.
2. Bid & Proposal Management
End-to-End Tendering: Lead the management of the entire bidding lifecycle, including Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and formal government/private tenders.
Proposal Architecture: Write, edit, and curate high-quality, technically compliant, and persuasive proposals that clearly articulate our competitive advantages.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all submissions meet strict regulatory, financial, and technical requirements to avoid disqualification.
3. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
Relationship Engineering: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, procurement officers, and strategic partners.
Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms while maintaining project profitability.
Performance Tracking: Maintain the bid pipeline and provide regular reports on "Win/Loss" ratios and revenue forecasts to senior leadership.
