Job Description:
We are looking for a high-energy, results-oriented Field Marketer to be the face of our solar energy brand. This is a boots-on-the-ground role for a proactive individual who enjoys outdoor engagement and is passionate about sustainable energy. You will be responsible for driving awareness, educating households and businesses on the cost-saving benefits of solar power, and generating high-quality leads for our sales team. Requirements:
1. Direct Outreach & Product Education
Field Promotion: Conduct door-to-door, street, and community-based marketing to promote inverters, solar panels, and battery solutions.
Educational Advocacy: Simplify technical solar concepts for potential customers, focusing on long-term cost savings and energy independence.
Material Distribution: Strategically distribute flyers and brochures to high-traffic areas and targeted residential/commercial clusters.
2. Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Support
Qualified Lead Capture: Identify prospects with high intent and accurately capture their energy needs and contact information.
Appointment Setting: Schedule site visits and consultations for the technical sales team to move prospects toward a final installation.
Market Feedback: Act as the company's "eyes and ears" by reporting on competitor pricing, common customer objections, and new territory opportunities.
3. Brand Ambassadorship & Reporting
Relationship Building: Maintain a professional and trustworthy image during all interactions to build long-term brand credibility.
Daily Reporting: Submit detailed daily/weekly logs of field activities, leads generated, and customer feedback via our reporting tools.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly lead generation and brand awareness benchmarks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Minimum of SSCE/OND (HND/BSc is an added advantage).
Proven Track Record: Previous experience in Field Marketing, Direct Sales, or street activations is preferred.
Technical Interest: A basic understanding of solar products (Inverters, Panels, Batteries) is a plus, though full product training will be provided.
Core Competencies
Resilience: Willingness to work outdoors and move within assigned locations daily.
Persuasion Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly.
Self-Management: Highly disciplined and able to hit targets with minimal supervision.
