Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Marketplace Coordinator to serve as the vital link between our platform and our merchant network. This role is for a high-energy professional who excels at vendor relationship management and operational logistics. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the seller journey—from onboarding new high-potential vendors to negotiating the best price points for our customers. Your goal is to ensure a reliable, competitively priced, and smoothly flowing inventory through constant communication and seamless coordination with our warehouse and fleet teams.
Requirements:
1. Vendor Acquisition & Strategic Growth
Merchant Onboarding: Identify and onboard new active sellers who align with our platform’s quality and growth standards.
Relationship Engineering: Conduct regular field visits to build long-term trust and loyalty with our key sellers.
Negotiation: Leverage market insights to negotiate with sellers for exclusive offers and the best possible pricing to maintain our competitive edge.
2. Supply Chain & Order Orchestration
Daily Inventory Management: Maintain daily communication with sellers to secure real-time price updates, availability, and new product offers.
Operational Liaison: Bridge the gap between sellers, the warehouse, and the fleet team to ensure orders are processed and dispatched without friction.
Financial Coordination: Oversee the seller payment process, ensuring accuracy and timely settlements to maintain healthy vendor partnerships.
3. Systems & Market Intelligence
Data Integrity: Manage and update the internal marketplace system with 100% accuracy regarding stock levels and pricing.
Industry Foresight: Stay updated on e-commerce trends and competitor activities to recommend strategic adjustments to our marketplace offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Knowledge
E-commerce Expertise: Proven experience in online business models, digital marketplaces, or e-procurement.
Relevant Experience: Only candidates with a track record in vendor management or marketplace operations will be considered.
Soft Skills & Competencies
Communication & Persuasion: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence seller behavior and negotiate favorable terms.
Energy & Resilience: High levels of physical and mental energy for regular field visits and fast-paced operational demands.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to resolving bottlenecks between sellers and the logistics team.
