Job Description:

Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is seeking a results-oriented Credit Officer to facilitate responsible lending and drive financial inclusion within the Lagos Island and Epe business hubs. In this role, you will be the bridge between our capital and the growth of our clients' businesses. You will be responsible for the end-to-end credit lifecycle—from evaluating the creditworthiness of diverse traders and entrepreneurs to ensuring timely daily and weekly repayments. Requirements:

1. Credit Assessment & Risk Analysis

• Financial Evaluation: Review loan requests by assessing clients' financial status, business cash flow, and overall creditworthiness.

• Risk Mitigation: Calculate risk ratios and analyze financial data to make informed "Approve" or "Reject" decisions on loan applications.

• Paperwork Excellence: Prepare comprehensive loan application files and maintain updated, accurate records of all submissions.

2. Portfolio Management & Collections

• Repayment Oversight: Conduct daily and weekly repayment collections to ensure the portfolio remains healthy and non-performing loans (NPLs) are minimized.

• Loan Monitoring: Monitor the progress of existing loans and maintain regular contact with clients regarding renewals or restructuring.

• Payment Planning: Design and set up sustainable payment plans that align with the client’s business cycle and company policy.

3. Relationship Management

• Field Engagement: Visit client business locations to gather financial documentation and verify the authenticity of business operations.

• Customer Advocacy: Provide exceptional customer service, guiding clients through lending procedures while upholding the ethical standards of the trust.

• Location Focus

  Candidates must be familiar with and able to operate effectively in the following areas:

• Core Island: Obalande, Apongbon, CMS, Idumota, Idumagbo, Balogun, Sura, Oke Suna.

• Lekki/Epe Axis: Ajah, Bogije, Sangotedo, Epe.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Proven Tenure: Prior experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or in a similar microfinance/lending role.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Analytical Ability: Strong skills in calculating financial ratios and processing spreadsheets.

• Lending Knowledge: Hands-on experience with diverse lending products and debt recovery procedures.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to handle negotiations and collections professionally.

• Mobility: Willingness to operate in a field-based capacity within the listed Lagos Island and Epe environments.
