Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, brilliant, and results-oriented Membership Relations Officer to drive growth and engagement within our professional community. This role is designed for a strategic marketer who excels at high-level networking and community building. You will be responsible for the end-to-end membership lifecycle—from identifying and onboarding high-value professionals to ensuring long-term retention through exceptional service and value delivery. Requirements:

1. Membership Growth & Acquisition

  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and recruit high-caliber professionals and corporate entities into the membership program through targeted marketing initiatives.

  • Onboarding Excellence: Facilitate the seamless integration of new members, ensuring they understand the full range of benefits and resources available to them.

  • Professional Outreach: Represent the organization at industry events, mixers, and seminars to expand the membership base.

2. Relationship Management & Engagement

  • Retention Strategy: Develop and implement engagement programs (webinars, networking sessions, and workshops) to ensure members find continuous value.

  • Feedback Loops: Regularly engage with members to gather insights, address grievances, and adapt service offerings to meet their evolving professional needs.

  • Advocacy: Turn satisfied members into brand ambassadors to drive organic referrals and word-of-mouth growth.

3. Marketing & Communication

  • Value Proposition: Craft compelling communication materials that articulate the benefits of membership across various digital and physical channels.

  • Reporting: Monitor membership metrics, including growth rates, churn rates, and engagement levels, providing weekly reports to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Academic Background: B.Sc. in Marketing or a related social science field.

  • Proven Tenure: Deep experience in Professional Service Marketing (e.g., Law firms, Accounting firms, Professional Bodies, or High-end Clubs).

  • Intelligence & Personality: Must be exceptionally brilliant and intelligent with an extroverted personality and a strong work ethic.

Logistics & Availability

  • Location: Must reside in Lagos Island or its immediate environs, including: Lekki, Ajah, Badore, Ado Road, Ogombo Town, Victoria Island, Dolphin Estate, or Ikoyi.

  • Readiness: Successful candidates must be ready to resume immediately.

Salary

₦150,000 - ₦200,000/month
