Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to manage our end-to-end human resources functions. This role is designed for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can balance technical administrative precision with high-level employee engagement. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle—from sourcing top-tier tech talent and managing payroll to fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can provide expert guidance to both management and staff while maintaining the operational integrity of our HR systems.

Requirements:

1. Talent Lifecycle & Performance Excellence

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the recruitment and selection process, from crafting technical job descriptions and conducting interviews to managing a seamless onboarding experience.

  • Performance Governance: Support the performance management framework, including goal setting, appraisals, continuous feedback loops, and individual development planning.

  • Training & Client Coordination: Coordinate professional development programs for in-house staff and manage training logistics for external clients where required.

  • 2. Operational Compliance & People Governance

  • Policy & Labor Law: Implement and update HR policies and procedures to ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws and global best practices.

  • Records & Reporting: Maintain meticulous employee records and prepare data-driven HR reports to support audits and management decision-making.

  • 3. Culture & Employee Relations

  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a neutral mediator in handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions with professionalism and tact.

  • Culture Stewardship: Sustain a productive and inclusive organizational culture by engaging with teams to drive high performance and morale.

  • Separation Management: Oversee the exit process, including offboarding logistics and conducting exit interviews to gather actionable insights for improvement.

  • HSE Compliance: Monitor and enforce adherence to workplace health and safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Tenure: Minimum of 2 years (post-NYSC) of relevant HR experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the Tech Sector.

  • Professional: Certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or PHRi are an added advantage.

Core Competencies

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of a tech organization.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with HRIS/HR Software and the Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel/PowerPoint).

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret HR data and turn it into meaningful reports.

  • Ethics: A high level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Salary

N150,000 - N250,000 / month.
