Job Description:

Mutual Group is seeking a visionary Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic consultant to our leadership team. This is a high-impact role designed to align our overarching business objectives with high-level employee engagement and talent initiatives. You will be the primary architect of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), formulating partnerships across the Group to deliver value-added services in performance management, compensation strategy, and competency development. The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional with a "proactive-fixer" mindset, capable of building a robust talent bench while ensuring our HR policies are at the cutting edge of industry best practices.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Workforce Planning & Succession

  • Manning & Forecasting: Oversee the planning and forecasting of manpower requirements, ensuring the organizational structure is optimized for future growth.

  • Bench Strength: Develop and implement rigorous Succession Planning for all critical roles to mitigate business risk and ensure leadership continuity.

  • Role Definition: Architect comprehensive Job Descriptions for all roles, ensuring clear alignment between individual effort and Group goals.

2. Performance, Compensation & Policy Governance

  • Policy Architecture: Lead the continuous review and implementation of HR policies and processes, ensuring they strengthen our EVP and align with modern labor realities.

  • Advisory Excellence: Provide expert guidance to Line Managers on policy interpretation, ensuring consistent and fair application of human resource standards.

  • Competency Development: Formulate partnerships across the Group to design frameworks that enhance staff competencies and drive high-performance cultures.

3. Employee Relations & Cultural Transformation

  • Morale & Retention: Work closely with management to cultivate a high-trust work environment, proactively improving relationships and staff retention rates.

  • Conflict Resolution: Anticipate and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough investigation and early engagement with Line Managers.

  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, using HR analytics to drive process improvements and increase overall productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Professional Mastery

  • Academic: A strong first degree from a reputable Higher Institution; a Master’s degree is considered a significant added advantage.

  • Tenure: Minimum of 10 years of robust HR experience, with at least 5 years at a Senior Management level.

  • Certifications: Professional certification is required (e.g., CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or CPHR).

Core Competencies

  • HR Analytics: Ability to use workforce data to drive decision-making and project organizational needs.

  • Strategic Career Management: Expertise in developing learning paths and competency frameworks.

  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead complex HR projects from conception to completion.

  • Tech Proficiency: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office Applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
