Job Description:
Air Peace is seeking a high-caliber Head of Sales to lead our global sales organization across domestic, regional, and international markets. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, strengthening market share, and overseeing our entire distribution ecosystem. You will lead a high-performing team across Nigeria, the UK, UAE, India, South Africa, and beyond, ensuring that Air Peace is the preferred carrier for corporate, trade, and leisure travelers. As we expand into the Americas and the Caribbean, you will be the architect of our market-entry strategies and the steward of our commercial success on the world stage.
Requirements:
1. Global Sales Leadership & Market Expansion
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a cohesive global sales strategy to maximize RASK (Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer) and yield across all territories.
New Market Entry: Lead the commercial ramp-up for new long-haul destinations (e.g., São Paulo, Rio, Caribbean), ensuring rapid brand penetration and load factor growth.
Governance & ROI: Implement a rigorous sales governance framework to ensure accountability, productivity, and an ROI-driven approach to all sales activities.
2. Corporate & Trade Partnership Management
Corporate Excellence: Lead high-level negotiations for corporate contracts, developing volume-based deals for multinationals, the Oil & Gas sector, and government entities.
Travel Trade Stewardship: Manage the global network of TMCs (Travel Management Companies), GDS partners, and OTAs. Oversee incentive structures, commissions, and performance management.
High-Yield Focus: Specifically drive the acquisition of premium-cabin traffic and high-yield business travelers on key international routes like London and Johannesburg.
3. Distribution Strategy & Cross-Functional Synergy
Omnichannel Distribution: Optimize sales across GDS (Amadeus, Sabre), NDC, direct web/app channels, and call centers to lower the cost of sales.
Pricing & Revenue Sync: Work in lockstep with Revenue Management and Pricing to align sales efforts with demand trends and inventory availability.
Network Support: Provide real-time market intelligence to Network Planning to support frequency adjustments or new route evaluations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or Aviation; Master’s/MBA is a significant advantage.
Professional History: 10–12 years of progressive airline commercial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Country Manager or Regional Head).
Global Exposure: Proven track record in long-haul and multi-continent sales (Africa, Europe, Asia, Americas).
Technical & Professional Competencies
Distribution Mastery: Deep knowledge of GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport), NDC (New Distribution Capability), and CRM systems.
Analytical Prowess: Expert command of sales forecasting, business intelligence tools, and revenue reporting.
Leadership: Exceptional ability to mentor and lead diverse, multicultural sales teams across various time zones.
