Job Description:

1. Strategic Partnerships & Donor Relations

  • Relationship Stewardship: Handle end-to-end partner relationships, from initial outreach and contract negotiations to long-term account management.

  • Technical Writing: Draft high-impact proposals, concept notes, and comprehensive donor reports to secure and maintain funding.

  • Impact Reporting: Perform quarterly donor mapping and send detailed impact updates; oversee donor accounts, timesheets, and reporting compliance.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain and categorize a sophisticated partnerships database to ensure 100% accuracy in deliverable tracking.

 

2. Policy Advocacy & Regional Campaigns

  • Policy Influence: Implement data-driven strategies to influence regional policy changes that improve the business environment for African entrepreneurs.

  • Stakeholder Convening: Plan and execute quarterly policy and entrepreneurship roundtables with key government and private sector leaders.

  • Campaign Leadership: Drive targeted advocacy campaigns to promote entrepreneurship support across designated African regions.

 

3. Research & Africapitalism Advancement

  • Research Collaborations: Form strategic partnerships with academic and research institutions to investigate entrepreneurship barriers and enablers.

  • Intellectual Frameworks: Develop a robust framework for academic research on Africapitalism, positioning it as a leading development philosophy.

  • Network Expansion: Engage with diverse channels to build and maintain a global network of Africapitalism advocates and scholars.

Requirements:

  • Negotiation: Expert-level skills in contract negotiation and stakeholder management.

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to draft technical documents and present complex ideas to high-level policymakers.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to link research outcomes to policy advocacy and donor interests.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree; a Master’s Degree is highly preferred.

  • Professional History: 4–7 years of experience in similar roles across Tech & Innovation, Corporate Sector, or NGOs.

  • Market Exposure: Proven experience working across varied African markets.

  • Partnership Track Record: Demonstrated success in initiating, securing, and managing large-scale partnerships with international organizations.
