Greensprings School’s history dates back to January 1985 when it started off as a Montessori school offering nursery education to children aged 2-5 years. Since then, the school has grown remarkably and is today a leading institution offering a first-class education from the foundation stage to post-secondary levels.We believe that offering a progressive education gives both parents & pupils’ stability and continuity, removing the inconvenience of having to change schools periodically.
From our first campus, situated in the heart of the Lagos mainland, which started with only 3 pupils, Greensprings School has grown tremendously in size and has also now established a state of the art campus on the Lekki Peninsula and Ikoyi, with a combined student population of over 2,500 pupils. Greensprings school has been entirely self-supporting since inception. There is a Board of Governors, which, not only guides the overall direction and strategic running of the school; it also oversees the work of the Director of Education and the School Director. We look at our history with pride and affection but we also look forward with eager anticipation to the challenge of meeting the current educational needs of children growing up in the global village of the 21st century.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with institutional goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering creativity and high performance.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and communication across all channels.
- Drive digital marketing, content marketing, social media strategy, and paid campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with admissions, academic, and operations teams to optimize student recruitment.
- Plan and execute events, webinars, open days, and community engagement initiatives.
- Set marketing KPIs, monitor performance metrics, and report to executive leadership.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, media, and educational consultants.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field with 5–10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (education sector preferred).
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.
- Experience in digital marketing, SEO, social media, CRM systems, and content creation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinker with strong organizational and project management skills
