Job Description:

We are seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented Facility Management Consultant to spearhead the deployment and oversight of smart metering systems in Victoria Garden City (VGC). You will be the technical lead for energy infrastructure, responsible for ensuring that our metering systems are operating at peak efficiency, identifying technical anomalies, and optimizing energy usage. This role requires a unique blend of field-based infrastructure inspection and high-level reporting.

Requirements:

  • Smart Metering Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end process of installing, commissioning, and maintaining smart metering systems across assigned residential/commercial properties.

  • Infrastructure Inspection: Perform rigorous, periodic inspections of electrical systems and utility infrastructure to ensure that meter performance is not compromised by facility-level faults.

  • Energy Governance: Proactively identify energy loss, detect unauthorized meter tampering, and diagnose infrastructure faults. You will be the primary eyes and ears for energy integrity in the field.

  • Operational Liaison: Coordinate seamlessly with property management teams to secure site access for installations and repairs. Act as the bridge between technical service providers and property stakeholders.

  • Efficiency Analysis: Analyze energy consumption trends and provide actionable recommendations to management and property owners to drive energy efficiency and cost reduction.

  • Technical Reporting: Maintain precise documentation of meter health and facility conditions. You will provide regular, data-backed reports to management on system status and maintenance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Estate Management, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in facility management, utilities management, or large-scale infrastructure operations.

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and energy management is a significant advantage.

  • Key Competencies:

    • Analytical Rigor: Ability to interpret energy data and identify patterns or faults.

    • Inspection Skills: Sharp attention to detail with the ability to identify infrastructure vulnerabilities.

    • Coordination: Excellent ability to work with diverse teams (property managers, technicians, and residents).

    • Professionalism: Strong report-writing skills and the ability to represent the company professionally during client/site interactions.
