Job Description:

We are seeking a smart, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations Officer to serve as the engine of our Fashion Academy in Gbagada. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless daily management of our academic and creative environment. We are looking for an individual who can bridge the gap between creative design and operational excellence—someone who understands the fashion industry, is adept at managing digital platforms, and has the administrative rigor to keep a fast-paced academy running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the academy, ensuring that classrooms, workshops, and facilities are optimized for learning.

  • Creative Coordination: Act as a liaison between instructors, students, and management to ensure curriculum delivery is timely and well-structured.

  • Vendor & People Management: Coordinate effectively with suppliers, maintain vendor relationships, and manage student/customer inquiries with professionalism.

  • Social Media & Brand Visibility: Leverage your social media savvy to capture academy life, showcase student work, and maintain an active, engaging online presence that attracts prospective students.

  • Data & Documentation: Manage student records, attendance, and inventory using Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring all administrative records are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Problem Solving: Address operational bottlenecks proactively—whether it is a supply chain delay for design materials or a scheduling conflict—with a solution-driven mindset.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in administration and fashion management, preferably within a creative or fast-paced industry.

  • Industry Knowledge: You must have a functional understanding of fashion designing and the fashion education landscape.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Soft Skills:

    • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot day-to-day operational challenges.

    • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage diverse groups of people.

    • Reliability: We require an individual who is punctual, trustworthy, and takes full ownership of their responsibilities.

  • Attributes: High attention to detail, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and a professional, proactive presence.

Salary

₦150,000 - ₦200,000/month
