We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • The Business Development Strategist & Sales Lead will serve as the key driver of Davethan’s growth in Nigeria, responsible for building a strong client network, developing market-specific sales strategies, and delivering measurable revenue outcomes.
  • This role demands a self-motivated professional with a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across technology, fintech, logistics, and digital service sectors.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement market-entry and go-to-market strategies tailored to local trends.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and leadership teams to design client-centric solutions.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-impact deals that align with company growth targets.
  • Represent Davethan Technologies at business meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to leadership.
  • Provide market intelligence to guide pricing, service positioning, and regional strategy.
  • Identify and pursue all core business and technology-related certifications by liaising with relevant government ICT agencies, such as NITDA, for private and government ICT projects through bidding processes.
  • Identify and pursue necessary professional certifications by interfacing with all internal departments, a mandatory requirement for ICT-related businesses (e.g., Cisco certification).
  • Lead as the company's representative in all external business strategy meetings, workshops, and bidding processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA / MSC preferred).
  • 5+ years experience in B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition — ideally within tech, SaaS, or consulting sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian digital and enterprise market landscape.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven, and goal-oriented.
