Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Sales Engineer to develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, provide technical solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of chemical products and services that meet our clients’ production objectives.

Requirements:

• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting partnerships with major IOCs, independent producers, and service companies.

• Business Growth: Proactively identify new business opportunities for production chemicals to achieve revenue targets.

• Technical Solutions: Deliver chemical solutions and technical support tailored to the operational needs of our clients.

• Performance Evaluation: Conduct field trials to evaluate chemical performance, effectiveness, and compatibility in oilfield systems.

• Product Development: Collaborate with internal R&D teams to develop new formulations when necessary.

• Client Advocacy: Serve as the lead point of contact for clients, coordinating technical issue resolution and service support.

• Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to identify new growth opportunities.

• Project Execution: Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of projects and timely delivery of services.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc., B.Eng., or HND in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field (Minimum of Second Class Upper / Upper Credit).

• Experience: 3–6 years of experience in technical sales, production chemistry, or oilfield chemicals within the oil and gas industry.

• Preferred: A Master’s degree in a related field and relevant professional certifications in oilfield chemicals or production technology are an added advantage.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical applications in production systems.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Mindset: Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a high attention to detail, capable of managing multiple client projects and delivering results under pressure.
