Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Risk Engineer to serve as a critical advisor for our major infrastructure and oil & gas projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end risk lifecycle from the design phase through to final commissioning. This role is for a seasoned professional who can move beyond basic risk tracking to provide deep, data-driven insights that safeguard project scope, budget, schedule, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Risk Framework Development: Establish and maintain comprehensive project risk registers and robust risk management plans tailored to complex, large-scale projects.

• Advanced Risk Assessment: Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative risk assessments. You will be expected to lead and interpret Monte Carlo simulations to provide accurate contingency and probability forecasts.

• Strategic Insights: Translate risk data into actionable recommendations for project leadership, directly influencing decision-making across cost, time, and quality.

• Integration: Collaborate with project controls and scheduling teams to ensure risks are accurately reflected in project baselines and updated dynamically.

• Project Lifecycle Oversight: Support risk identification and mitigation strategies throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring stability during design, construction, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in project risk management or project controls, specifically within the Oil & Gas or large-scale infrastructure sectors.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced competency in Primavera P6.

  • Expertise in Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA) and Palisade @RISK.
