Job Description:

Chowdeck is seeking curious and empathetic Machine Learning Engineers to join our team. We are looking for builders who are passionate about solving complex, real-world problems—from optimizing logistics and predicting ETAs to personalizing recommendations and detecting fraud. Requirements:

• Production ML Development: Architect, build, deploy, and maintain production-ready machine learning services that deliver high-impact results.

• Infrastructure & Pipeline Engineering: Develop scalable ML pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and robust model-serving infrastructure.

• Operational Optimization: Own and improve critical systems, including ETA prediction, demand forecasting, personalization, and automated operational efficiency.

• System Reliability: Monitor model performance in production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and accuracy as our data volume grows.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to operationalize ML systems and foster a data-driven product development culture.

• Tooling & Practice: Continuously contribute to our internal ML tooling and improve our experimentation frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production.

• Technical Foundations:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and solid software engineering principles.

  • Hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks and tooling.

• Code Quality: Ability to write clean, maintainable, and highly scalable production-quality code.

• Problem-Solving: A data-driven approach to tackling product and operational challenges.

• Soft Skills:

  • Articulate, kind, and empathetic; comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve rapidly.
