Job Description:

We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive Maintenance Officer (Electrical) to join our facility team in Lagos. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and peak performance of our electrical systems and equipment. This role is perfect for a methodical engineer who understands the critical nature of maintenance in a sensitive production environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of operational efficiency and workplace safety.

Requirements:

• Routine Maintenance & Repair: Execute and coordinate routine maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of facility infrastructure.

• Proactive Inspections: Conduct regular, thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs before they impact operations.

• Project Oversight: Manage repair and upgrade projects by obtaining quotes, scheduling contractors, and ensuring all work is delivered on time and within budget.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise logs of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inventory, and compliance reports.

• Responsive Support: Provide prompt, prioritized resolutions to maintenance requests from staff, ensuring minimal downtime for critical processes.

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels for maintenance supplies and procure essential equipment as needed to ensure constant readiness.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations strictly comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and implement risk-mitigation measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering related field.

• Professional Experience: Proven experience in a maintenance role, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the Pharmaceutical industry.
